System Administrator

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Candidates must have an active Secret clearance and verify, before applying, that you meet the minimum requirements of the position.

JANUS Research Group is looking for a System Administrator to support the PEO IEW&S Digital Engineering Ecosystem contract and shall be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of software applications and systems within the efforts infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of software systems to meet the effort requirements and needs of users.
  • Installing and configuring software applications, databases, and middleware components according to best practices and system requirements.
  • Monitoring the performance, health, and availability of software systems and applications.
  • Performing routing maintenance tasks such as software updates, patches, and backups to ensure system reliability and security.
  • Configuring and managing security policies, firewalls, and access controls to enforce security.
  • Providing technical support and assistance for end-users

Experience/Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience
  • Active Secret clearance required
