Job Summary
The Supply Technician supports KSC Mission Services with property control, maintains property, property tagging, record entry into system of record, conducts material/equipment inventories, surplus/obsolete material/equipment disposal, audits, maintains logs/databases/forms to track property in the repair process, and develops, recommends, and implements property administration processes and policies.
Duties/Responsibilities
Ensures all Federal Government and external customer property transactions are in compliant with corporate policy and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Maintains and sustains property accountability records in company and Federal Government system of record.
Assists in the management of the excess program.
Conducts annual equipment inventories and monthly material inventories.
Assists in the management for the property repair program
Perform self-assessments and assist the Federal Government with Property Management audits.
Review and update Property Management procedures and processes.
Validate Federal Government property data entered by other organizations and provide guidance on company policy and government regulations

Requires a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines
Requires an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced
Requires analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to pass a NASA background investigation
Must hold and maintain a valid Florida driver's license
Must be able to pass an initial and yearly random drug testing
Education And Experience
High School Diploma
Four Years of related experience
Physical Requirements
Requires working indoors and outdoors.
Often requires lifting to 35 - 50 pounds and working on uneven surfaces and standing for long periods of time.
Requires repetitive movement, bending, stooping, twisting, and working in awkward positions.
Lighting conditions may be inadequate in some work locations.
Ability to recognize or interpret differences in wire and cable colors.
Ability to receive and transmit auditory information using telecommunication or electronic devices.
