Under the direction of the Director of Facilities, the Supervisor Building Engineer plans, implements, coordinates, and manages all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and manpower development programs for a facility, campus, or portfolio of buildings.
Annual Salary Range: $63,169.60 - $93,184.00
Qualifications
Education:
Requires a high school diploma or GED.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business, technical, facilities management or related field preferred.
Experience
Must have a minimum of four (4) years of facility management-related experience that demonstrates an understanding of the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Prefer prior direct or indirect supervisory experience.
Certification/Licensure
Prefer Universal CFC certification.
Prefer certification in three or more of the following:
HVAC
Electrical
Mechanical
HVAC and refrigeration systems
Process controls
Mechanical power transmissions
Painting
Plumbing
Carpentry
Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
Must have a valid fingerprint clearance card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety or submit a completed Affidavit at the time of hire. Must complete fingerprint clearance card application within seven (7) days of hire date. Must present actual card within 90 days of applying for a fingerprint clearance card.

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles and to understand operating budgets.
Ability to calculate intermediate figures and percentages and conduct basic financial analysis.
