Sr. Social Media & Content Manager

Performance Beauty Group is looking for a creative, and motivated, Sr. Social Media & Content Strategy Manager to join its social marketing team. The Sr. Social Media & Content Strategy Manager will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive social media and content strategies that enhance brand awareness and drive engagement. This role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms, content creation, and data-driven marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, excellent communication skills, and a creative mindset. As a social first brand, we’re looking for someone with a great eye for trends on social and ideas to help create positive and relevant conversations.

This role will be based out of our Dallas TX office.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Develop & own full funnel social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, Youtube, inclusive of calendaring, process and workflow that allows social channels to properly support the needs of brand initiatives, retailer/trade support and DTC channel
• Conceptualize campaign and content strategies to support product launches and ongoing marketing campaigns
• Strategically concept full funnel social creative that aligns with marketing needs, including storytelling and educational content, while actively participating on camera
• Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce and curate engaging content that resonates with our community
• Collaborate with paid media & influencer teams to strategize and provide assets for paid social support across channels
• Build & oversee an always-on creator program to fuel the content needs across the business
• Assist with content creation and editing social media calendars (Video Editing, Design and Copywriting skills a must)
• Develop a reporting process to track and monitor KPI’s in real-time to optimize and pivot strategies, tactics and content development utilizing the social media measurement tool Dash Hudson & Motion
• Lead and mentor social media coordinator
• Monitor social media trends and events for relevant opportunities to respond to in real time

Who You Are:

• 5+ years social media experience for a brand or agency
• Experience within the beauty or haircare space a plus
• Knowledge of social media platforms and tools, and an active participant in social media
• Strong grammar, video editing and copywriting skills
• You’re obsessed with beauty, makeup, and trends
• You have a strong passion for social media, and are well-versed in the latest social media trends
• You are a creative storyteller, and enjoy creating social media content
• You’re a proactive team player, and are always willing to learn and jump in where needed
• You’re resourceful and solution-oriented

Education / Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree

Travel and Hours:

• This is a full-time position salaried position.
• Required in office days are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
• Work from homes days are Tuesday and Friday
