Job Description
Sr. Salesforce Admin
- Ensuring optimal performance of Salesforce applications and related supporting applications
- Upgrading and configuring Salesforce systems for optimized integration including API data integrations
- Managing Salesforce users, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing rules, workflows, and groups, ensuring timely updates
- Importing sales department leads, contacts, projects, tasks, and other data into Salesforce from traditional applications using the Data Loader Utility
- Performing regular database maintenance tasks, including diagnostic tests and duplicate entry cleansing
- Evaluating and installing new Salesforce releases, as well as providing training and support
- Creating custom code such as APEX classes, triggers and Visualforce pages to support business needs
- Documenting processes, including change management documentation
- Working with users and software vendors to identify solutions for business needs and supporting the implementation, and implementation of new systems
- Working with end users to identify and resolve problems, working with software vendor as needed
- Defining parameters to measure output and performance standards
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; Computer Science focus preferred
- 4-6 years of experience in administration, configuration, customization, development, and support on Salesforce.com Platform including roles, profiles, and managing access required; equivalent combinations of experience acceptable
- Good understanding of Salesforce architecture with classic and lightning user interface; experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Community Cloud required
- Hands on experience in developing and configuring dashboards, reports and report folders for different user profiles based on the need in the organization required
- Expertise in SFDC Development using Lightning Application, Apex Language, Visualforce Pages, Classes, Controllers, Triggers, Indexes, Components, Tabs, Apex Web services, Custom Objects, Reports, Dashboards, Profiles, Creating Roles, Page Layouts, Org - Wide default, sharing rules, Workflows required
- Strong experience in creating, managing Applications, Custom Objects, Custom tabs, Fields, Relationships, Page Layouts, Record Types, Validation Rules, Email Templates, Report Types, Workflow Rules, and Approval Process required
- Prior experience working with SharePoint and O365 preferred.
- Strong communication skills required
- Strong computer skills required (Microsoft Office)
- Experience working with remote or geographically dispersed end-users required
- Salesforce certified administrator or Salesforce advanced administrator certification and/or Salesforce Platform Developer I would be a plus
- Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration.
