Job Description

The Cable Entertainment (Bravo, E!, Oxygen, SYFY, and USA) social marketing team is seeking an insights and analytics Manager who loves both unscripted and scripted content. This ideal candidate is passionate and knowledgeable about social analytics and is very well-versed in reporting tools such as Dash Hudson, Sprout and TalkWalker. They are experienced in sharing performance data including both social listening and campaign data, turning them into actionable insights. They will use these findings to help develop social strategy and content for higher levels of engagement and growth, both in real time and for the longer term.

This individual is also experienced in how to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders including brand and creative teams, as well as external partners.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Own and share both short term and long-term brand/campaign performance results, turning them into actionable insights.
  • Share social listening and sentiment reports for programming across all cable entertainment networks.
  • Gather competitive research in the social media space.
  • Develop social goals and KPIs on all platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and new emerging platforms.
  • Build and maintain relationships, processes and project timelines with internal teams across Creative, Media, Brand, Talent Relations and Communications, as well as with external partners to ensure proper delivery of social reporting around business driving priorities.
  • Work directly with the Director, Social Marketing on monitoring performance and sharing insights that align with established objectives and KPIs.
  • Potential opportunity to provide social marketing support across the other NBCU brands.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of social media analytics and marketing experience with an intimate understanding of social media analytics, platforms and emerging trends
  • Fluent in social media analytics tools like Dash Hudson, TalkWalker, Sprout Social, amongst others- translating data into actionable insights
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience in social platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok and X as it pertains to content ideation, copywriting, and publishing
  • A clear written and verbal communicator who can interact with all teams at the organization
  • Willingness to work long hours and on weekends with short notice

  • Must be located within commutable distance of NBCU offices in NYC

Additional Requirements

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks. Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 (bonus eligible)
