Cient is looking for an experienced SharePoint developer and Microsoft Product specialist to facilitate the design and implementation of a training catalog of training programs on the SharePoint platform.

The right candidate must have recent experience designing and building SharePoint projects and a strong expertise in Microsoft products so they can hit the ground running. The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership on best practices for solution design and have deep experience implementing solutions within the Microsoft SharePoint Online and Office 365 platform. The individual must have good verbal and written communication skills, use good judgment, be creative, be persistent, be able to multitask, and meet tight deadlines.

Daily Tasks Performed

• Design and develop an Enterprise training catalog on SharePoint platform in a distributed global environment.
• Develop a comprehensive catalog of Microsoft (and other) training programs for various skill levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced).
• Review and select the most appropriate online training courses based on skill level for Microsoft (and other) products that are available on the various training platforms.
• Develop SharePoint components responsive design and mobile device channels including web parts, apps, pages and services, user controls, windows services and workflows using Visual Studio and SharePoint Designer.
• Provide technical expertise and insights in identifying, evaluating, and developing effective procedures and systems requirements that meet business requirements.
• Create functional design documents, translate the business requirements into system requirements, create a prototype of recommended solution.
• Strong customer interaction skills and ability to understand and document customer needs from a business solutions perspective.
• Understand and implement QA procedures (Code review, Estimating, Peer review, Impact Analysis, Root cause analysis, etc.).
• Responsible for providing technical assistance, problem resolutions, general “help desk” support, and training for clients.

• Bachelor’s degree in business, I.T., related field or equivalent.
• Experience SharePoint application development, with hands on experience with SharePoint 2013 and newer
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft products and familiarity with other enterprise solutions (i.e. Adobe, AWS, Azure, etc.)
• The right candidate must have recent experience implementing (not just using/participating) Sharepoint 2019 (and newer) projects so this self-starter can hit the ground running.
• He/she must be technically savvy, with a strong understanding of the Office 365 suite of products and the value such technologies could bring to a large enterprise.
• The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership on best practices for architectural design, understand the Microsoft SharePoint solution stack, and have a thorough understanding of enterprise application integration involving Business Process and Forms, Enterprise Content Management, and Portals.
• Must adhere to project timelines and technical deliverables and provide quality technical solutions that exceed client expectations.
• This role requires a proven technical skill set that has been demonstrated in the development of enterprise Line of Business applications and their integration into heterogeneous enterprise systems. The individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, use good judgment, be creative, be persistent, be able to multitask, and meet tight deadlines.
