Location:

This role can be performed on-site at the location above, or remotely for any individual who resides within Colorado.

Summary/Objective:

The Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and execution of complex test cases to ensure software products meet business needs. This position works at the senior level to catch bugs through manual testing processes and works closely with our Business, Product Managers, and Developers to ensure that all code developed is properly tested. The Senior QA Engineer is expected to provide leadership and guidance to other QA Engineers and coworkers throughout the organization regarding QA activities and best practices.

Essential Functions include:

  • Participate in review sessions of business requirements, technical requirements, and design documents to ensure the software changes are understood.
  • Design, develop, build, and manually execute test cases, plans, and strategies based on requirements.
  • Implement testing procedures to continuously improve QA processes and best practices.
  • Provide guidance to business stakeholders on user acceptance testing. Utilizing best practices and learning new systems to provide advice.
  • Provide continuous updates on the state of testing and risk factors to schedules.
  • Coordinate with multiple business stakeholders to develop and ensure end-to-end test coverage.
  • Contribute extensive technical knowledge and understanding to training programs, business processes, and operating procedures.
  • Work closely with and lead other team members in the development, execution and tracking of corrective action plans that drive continuous improvement, increased performance, and efficiencies.

Manager Quality Assurance & Robotic Process Automation

This role has no supervisory responsibility.

Required Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Four-year degree from an accredited institution of higher education, or equivalent work experience.
  • Six (6) or more years of related experience, which includes three (3) or more years of QA experience in an iterative project management methodology.
  • Experience with relational database systems.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical colleagues at all levels in verbal and written communications.
  • Ability to effectively use troubleshooting and technical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Intellectually curious & analytically minded.

Preferred Skills, Education and Experience:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or field of study related to the work performed.
  • Experience developing automated test scripts using Selenium or related automation tool.
  • Experience with Python.
  • Experience with client and server-side JavaScript, Azure or AWS cloud vendors, and Linux.
  • Experience with IBM’s AIX operating system, Jack Henry & Associates (Symitar division) products including Episys and related (PowerOn) development.
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification, or previous work within an ITIL environment.

Work Environment:

Elevations uses multi-factor authentication to keep our data safe. As such, a personal smartphone is a requirement for employment with us. This job operates in an office setting and routinely uses standard office equipment.

Sitting frequently, walking occasionally, use of hands frequently, hearing constantly, talking frequently, exerting up to 10 lbs of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full time / 40 hours per week

Compensation:

The person hired into this position will likely earn between $91,182 and $113,978, plus annual bonus.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted hiring range based on factors such as relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, licensure requirements and/or skill level, and will be finalized at the time of offer.
