Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Director of Business Development to create and execute the sales strategy for Scaler. This role focuses on driving revenue growth through strategic initiatives, effective sales and marketing alignment, and fostering strong customer relationships. They will play a key role in ensuring that the company can scale successfully and sustain its growth trajectory.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the Scaler’s growth strategy.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expansion strategies.
  • Align the sales, marketing, and customer success teams to maximize revenue.
  • Ensure that marketing strategies align with revenue goals.
  • Work closely with the customer success team to improve customer retention and satisfaction.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Adjust strategies to maintain a competitive edge in the market.
  • Develop scalable processes and systems to support growth.

Basic Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of full-time experience in end-to-end sales and/or partnerships.
  • Experience leading conversations with executive-level external partners.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to quantify opportunities and influence decision-makers.
  • Excellent negotiation, forecasting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field such as investment, real estate, infrastructure, business, economics, or sustainable finance.
  • Familiarity with ESG and/or Real Estate sectors is highly preferred.
