Title: Senior Business Analyst - Cloud/Data

Essential Duties
Leverage business process redesign and cloud computing technologies to solve complex business challenges.
Assess current business processes (AS-IS) and develop new processes and workflows that capitalize on Cloud Platform's (Google Cloud Platform) Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) capabilities.
Collaborate with the data engineering team and functional unit owners to document a analysis that identifies discrepancies between capabilities, requirements, and technological needs.
Apply business process re-engineering methodologies to modernize systems.
Develop and document new standard operating procedures (SOPs) and a handbook for the Data Lake.
Prepare and present findings, recommendations, new operating models, and workflows in collaboration with the data engineering team.
Establish methodologies to measure process performance against defined metrics.
Manage and complete assignments independently, with the ability to handle 1-3 projects simultaneously.
Bridge between business and IT by understanding business needs and requests, identifying solutions, gathering information, and translating them into clear, documented artifacts.
Partner with business users to analyze processes and system issues, transforming them into actionable system changes that benefit stakeholders, enhance operational efficiency, and improve overall performance.
Collaborate effectively with project teams and business partners throughout the project lifecycle, including planning stages, incremental software delivery reviews, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure software implementation aligns with specifications.

Proficiency in process modeling (e.g., process flows, use cases, swim lane diagrams, AS-IS/TO-BE diagrams, mockups/wireframes).
Experience with Cloud technology (a plus)

Awareness of information security practices
Understanding of web applications
Experience with Jira (a plus)
Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
10+ years of IT experience, preferably in enterprise Business-to-Business (B2B) durable goods, construction, or building materials manufacturing.
10+ years of experience in systems analysis, data analysis, and design with a proven track record of successful large-scale project implementations.
Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or a similar certification (a plus).
