JOB DESCRIPTION:
Our Robert Half client is implementing SAP ECC6 at one of the manufacturing facilities. They are seeking an experienced SAP Production Planning/Quality Management (PP/QM) Functional Resource to assist their team. This role involves leading the SAP implementation for a new project, requiring both technical knowledge and hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM.

Key Responsibilities:
SAP Implementation: Lead the setup and implementation of SAP PP and QM modules, focusing on discrete manufacturing processes. This includes configuring the system to meet the specific requirements of a new project, with an emphasis on commercial assembly.
Routing and BOMs: Design and configure production routings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and other production planning elements. Ensure that these are optimized for discrete manufacturing processes and align with business requirements.
Quality Management: Implement and configure the SAP Quality Management (QM) module to support quality control and assurance processes. This includes inspection plans, quality notifications, and quality certificates.
Process Design: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and design SAP processes that meet these requirements. Explain and document these processes for end-users.
End-User Training: Provide training and support to end-users on SAP PP and QM modules. Develop training materials and conduct sessions to ensure smooth adoption of new processes.
Integration with Other Modules: Work closely with other SAP functional resources, especially in the Sales and Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules, to ensure seamless integration across the system.
Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure that the project stays on track, meeting deadlines and deliverables. Participate in key project meetings and provide updates on progress.
Travel to Tennessee: Be available to travel to our Tennessee location for key project phases, such as go-live, user acceptance testing, and critical project milestones.
Required Skills & Experience:
SAP PP/QM Expertise: Strong experience in SAP Production Planning and Quality Management, with a focus on discrete manufacturing.
Implementation Experience: Proven track record of successful SAP implementation projects, including setup and configuration of routing and BOMs.
Technical and Functional Knowledge: Solid understanding of SAP integration with other modules such as SD and MM.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex business processes and propose effective solutions.
Communication and Training Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to end-users and stakeholders. Experience in developing and delivering training materials.
