Job Summary: The Residential Account and Design Manager is responsible for providing accurate pricing and exceptional service to residential clients seeking furniture refinishing and reupholstery services. This role involves client consultations, material and finish selection assistance, and project management from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter with a passion for design and customer service.
Primary Responsibilities:
Client Engagement: Respond promptly to client inquiries, schedule consultations, and conduct on-site and in-shop visits.
Estimating: Prepare detailed and accurate estimates and work orders, ensuring all client requirements are met.
Material Selection: Assist clients in choosing the right materials, leathers, and finishes for their projects.
Project Management: Maintain detailed project documentation, update clients with photos and videos, and ensure timely completion of projects.
Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
Marketing Collaboration: Work with the marketing team to create engaging social media content and promote projects.
Business Development: Contribute to the growth of the business through effective sales and client retention strategies.
Qualifications:
Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred.
2+ years of experience in sales, customer service, or design consultation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency with computer systems and software.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Clean driving record and ability to pass background and drug screening tests.
Work Environment:
Predominantly in-shop with fieldwork for client consultations.
Collaborative and dynamic work environment with a focus on creativity and customer satisfaction.
