Project to Senior Level Engineer/Geologist/Environmental Scientist

Job Description

EnviroApplications, Inc., a Western U.S. employee-owned environmental consulting and engineering company, is looking for a full time, energetic and enthusiastic Project to Senior Level Engineer/Geologist/Scientist working out of our San Diego office.

This position will provide support for environmental assessment, data management and evaluation, oversight during remedial construction, occasional field work, and preparation of permits, work plans, reports and proposals.

Qualifications

B.S. in Engineering, Geology, and/or Environmental Science with experience in the following:

Professional registration desirable.

Required Skills for Senior Level:

Supervision of the installation, development, and sampling of groundwater and soil vapor monitoring wells;

Vapor Intrusion assessments;

Preparing and reviewing geologic cross sections, conducting subsurface evaluations, logging of small- and large-diameter borings;

Participate in the supervision, training, and mentoring of staff, and project level professionals;

Identify new clients and sectors with business potential;

Establish and develop relationships with potential and existing clients;

Project Management;

Prepare work plans for Phase II Investigations;

Produce documentation reports summarizing Phase II Investigations;

Phase I environmental site assessments.

Required Skills for Project Level:

Should have 5+ years of experience, preferably with an environmental consulting firm performing duties described above;

40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER training certificate with current 8 hour refresher;

Candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, a positive attitude, good organizational skills, and a strong work ethic;

Must be able to work both independently and as a team member.
