Responsible for proactively managing the project spend, including but not limited to: contract negotiation and management, commercial negotiations, delivery schedule negotiations and management, strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management support, demand planning, and customer interface. Assists manager and team members in the development and deployment of Project Sourcing strategies. Strong link to create and manage with AME Hub procurement team.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

● Develop and present project sourcing procurement plans for capital projects to key stakeholders for projects under areas of responsibility.

● Lead Project Sourcing negotiations for project work streams to include services, materials, equipment and delivery schedules that correspond to areas of responsibility.

● Work collaboratively within Supply Chain Operations Support, Purchasing Services, Strategic Initiatives, Key Stakeholders and Global E&C Procurement Group.

● Meet with product lines, proposals and projects routinely and proactively identify capital projects, contract value opportunities and implement strategies to maximize savings in the PPP.

● Manage end-to-end project sourcing and contracting process (including RFI/RFQ/RFPs) for assigned capital projects and other needed services or equipment.

● Participate in identifying emerging opportunities within the supply community.

● Evaluate existing contract relationships to identify savings realized, new savings opportunities, risk mitigation strategies, and other commercial terms enhancements.

● Leverage market intelligence to evaluate, negotiate, and manage annual price fluctuations supported by Global E&C procurement insights

● Negotiate commercial terms for significant or aggregated project-based spend associated with capital projects.

● Demonstrate competency in negotiating legal terms and conditions.

● Manage contract life-cycle for all assigned capital projects and utilize existing Frame Agreements and Contractor Rate Agreements whenever possible.

● Utilize all Supply Chain technologies for Project Sourcing, Contract Management, SRM, and Spend Analysis.

● Monitor, assess and adjust sourcing strategies based on supplier and market intelligence.

● Implement multiple strategies leveraging Total Cost of Ownership, Lease vs. Buy and Economic Value models.

● Develop relationships with product lines, proposals, and projects to understand their project, service, and/or equipment needs and implement strategies to maximize savings in the PPP.

● Responsible for ensuring compliance with E&C Global Directives, internal processes, including but not limited to, contract filing processes, bidding processes, and value creation reporting processes.

● Work closely with the Hub procurement team for key suppliers under areas of responsibility. Build a consistent, repeatable series of key performance indicators which can be used to gauge supplier performance and create actionable improvement plans.

● Provide various reports as requested by the manager.

● Partner with Legal to ensure current and continued compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures, both internal and external, to Air Liquide.


EDUCATION:

Required: Bachelor's degree in supply chain, finance, accounting, or other business related fields. Preferred: Advanced degree in business, management, or related field.


EXPERIENCE:

Required: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management or related field (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) Preferred: 5+ years’ experience in Supply Chain Management or related field (Engineering, Procurement, Construction)
