As a Marketing Program Manager, you'll work to boost the cohesion, focus, speed, and general effectiveness of the marketing team. You will play an integral part in how we bring our products and campaigns to market, engage our customers, and build our brand.

You will sit at the intersection of design, development, content, and campaigns. You'll be charged with aligning the efforts of a diverse cast, connecting the dots across teams and adapting to changing circumstances as you anticipate what's next. You will be an excellent partner in understanding your teams’ challenges, strengths, and motivations, and you'll help channel that at both the strategic and tactical level.

Compensation

At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:

Zone A: $114,300 - $152,300

Zone B: $102,800 - $137,100

Zone C: $94,800 - $126,400

This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll get to

  • Support team leads to assemble teams, define scope, kick-off and smoothly run successful marketing-driven programs.
  • Facilitate program rituals, such as planning sessions, kick offs, retros, roles and responsibilities play, and more.
  • Risk identification, monitoring, and mitigation.
  • Collaborate with other program managers to implement new or refine existing processes and framework, as the marketing organization continues to evolve and scale.
  • Be well informed on company and marketing goals and priorities to enable your teams to be set up for success.
  • Partner and build excellent relationships with cross-functional teams to align and strive for well thought-out and strategic plans ahead of execution.
  • Optimize your teams operationally to ensure the right amount of process and plays are in motion.


Qualifications

On the first day, we’ll expect you to have

  • At least 3 years in program management or similar role.
  • Enthusiasm and experience working alongside stakeholders across multiple teams, such as marketers, product, sales, design, content, and communications.
  • Experience running complex, cross-functional programs and projects.
  • Know when to actively lead, when to create space for others to step up, and when to draw out energy and insight from the teams.
  • Experience in dynamic, constantly evolving environments, and the ability to both respond to as well as motivate change.
  • Ability to work independently to manage workload, make decisions, and confidently share ideas and solutions.
  • Core strengths around written and verbal communication, infectious positive energy, resilience and high adaptability, and a sense of urgency with strategy and a clear vision.
  • Ability to maintain calm under pressure.


It’s awesome, but not required, if you have

  • Led agile teams or know agile methodologies
  • Experience working as a member of distributed teams, product and engineering teams, creative teams, or marketing teams.
  • Experience working with or administering project management, workflow, and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Trello, Slack etc.
