President

The President will provide strategic leadership and direction for all aspects of the company's operations, ensuring the achievement of our mission and financial objectives. They will be responsible for driving the company's development and guiding it towards long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business strategies that align with the company's vision.
  • Work closely with the Board of Directors and other executives to establish short-term and long-term goals, plans, and strategies.
  • Lead the company's overall operations and performance and ensure execution of the strategic plan.
  • Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the company's growth objectives.
  • Manage resources, including the capital investment and human resources, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Represent the company at major industry events, public meetings, and within the community.
  • Evaluate the company's competitive position and deliver strategic responses to market changes and business opportunities.
  • Ensure the company's compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the company's financial performance, investments, and other business ventures.
  • Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of executives, providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret complex documents such as financial reports, legal documents, and market data.
  • Resolve challenges and lead the company through times of change or crisis.
  • Motivate and lead a high-performance management team; attract, recruit, and retain required members of the executive team not currently in place; provide mentoring as a cornerstone to the management career development program.
  • Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a President or in a similar executive role within the packaging or manufacturing industry.
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
  • Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, sales, finance, HR, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practices.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • A strong problem-solving ability and analytical skills.
  • Degree in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is preferred.
