Position Summary

The Mobile Crisis Professional works in a collaborative manner to build a partnering relationship with families and others in the home and community to assure that the needs of designated children and their families are respectfully and adequately addressed. In each case the Family Worker will assure that services to children and families are individualized, strengths and needs based, culturally sensitive and responsive, and goal driven. This position requires local travel and flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule in a high-demand work situation.

Essential Responsibilities

  • To assure proper assessment by gathering and understanding current and past psychosocial histories by using diagnostic tools, assessing risk factors, and providing clinical direction.
  • To assure the development of effective treatment plan/services, by planning and leading treatment team meetings for the purpose of creating treatment plans/ISP.
  • To assure the implementation and evaluation of effective treatment plans that fosters goal attainment by delivering services, record keeping, advocating, evaluating goals, and supporting families.
  • To assure the development and maintenance of good working relationships with all involved entities.
  • To assure adherence to quality standards and compliance with external licensing and regulatory agencies.

Qualifications

  • State Police; FBI clearance; child abuse clearance; CPSL Mandated Reporter-Recognizing and Reporting Child Abuse training; any additional background checks/clearances required by state governing bodies.
  • Valid driver’s license and current vehicle insurance.
