Mechanical Project Manager

We are a mechanical contracting and engineering company located in the Miami area. We are a family-owned business specializing in Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) installations and design-build projects. Our expertise includes both conventional systems including package units, Direct Expansion (DX) equipment & ventilation systems as well as more advanced chiller systems and Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) installations. We have experience working with clients in hospitality, commercial, retail, municipal, and government projects.

Job Title: Project Manager

Job Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Job Salary: $80k-$130k+ DOE

Requirements: 3+ years of commercial mechanical project management

Position Overview: The Project Manager will be the point of contact for clients, managing the progress of projects from initial concept to completion. They will work closely with other members of the team to develop a project plan, assign tasks, and ensure successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the project/job
• Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
• Ensuring that specific project is delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
• Ensuring resource availability and allocation
• Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Gather and review submittals Procurement of all materials and labor necessary for project
• Supervise technician/helpers on job
• Reports problem(s)/questions to president
• Responsible for all project documentation (forms)
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management experience
• Experience with large commercial mechanical projects
