Job Overview

The Ecommerce Assistant will support the growth and digital experience vision of the Marketplace splitting their efforts across 3 key pillars: Live to Site, Site Merchandising, and Offshore Team Management.

The Ecommerce Assistant will report to the Director, Marketplace Strategy, and work in close partnership with the Specialist, Marketplace Strategy. They will need to execute with strong attention to detail, prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively, and lead and train a team to ensure site integrity. This individual will be directly responsible for developing best practices for marketplace PDP standards.

You are a great fit if you have experience working on live to site process and PDP optimization, implementing processes, and leading initiatives with cross-functional teams. Passion for growing an innovative retail model, e-commerce, and technology is a must. This individual will be expected to bring new ideas on internal process improvements and the digital customer experience to the table, supporting our scaling business.

Essential Functions

You will be the go-to individual for driving an efficient live to site process and enhancing the site experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the below.

  • Troubleshoot PDP workflow issues and manage product catalog
  • Facilitate merch approvals and partner cross functionally to get items live to site and optimized
  • Lead and coach our offshore data validation team to ensure high quality output and workstream prioritization
  • Review the site to identify enhancement opportunities and maintain site integrity
  • Work with site team to optimize PDP (video requests) and determine navigation strategies
  • Maintain vendor facing and internal documentation on our PDP guidelines
  • Track products featured in marketing exposures to ensure availability

Competencies

  • 2 years of related experience
  • Possess knowledge of, and passion for, digital and omni-channel commerce. Experience with site merchandising and an understanding of the importance of site attributes is required.
  • Excellent communication, sales, and facilitation skills (oral, written, and listening). Ability to understand, organize, and communicate complex information in an easily understandable format tailored to a variety of audiences.
  • Ability to effectively share technical information and communicate technical issues/solutions to all levels of business.
  • Customer-centric mindset with strong attention to detail and eagerness to enhance the customer experience.
  • Have a bias for action and act with deliberate speed.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience training or mentoring.
  • Ability to solve problems with internal and external stakeholders and be a self-starter who can thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Maintains confidentiality and security of sensitive company information.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needs
