Sportsman Boats is looking for a Maintenance Electricianwho will be responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain our plant, production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of Sportsman Boats’ business goals and objectives.
What you will do:
Performpreventive maintenance, troubleshootand repair of electrical systems and assemblies
Performelectrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools
Provideemergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performscheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
Inspectbuildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations
Performmechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, trouble shooting and repair of production machines
Readand interpretequipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Usea variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties
Complywith safety regulations and maintainclean and orderly work areas
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
Requirements
Minimum 3years high voltageindustrial maintenance experiencein manufacturing environment
Technical electrical competence, and the ability to read blueprints, flowcharts, schematics, and engineering documents; drive forklift and use hand tools
Acute troubleshooting skills including knowledge of high and low voltage with an understanding of the National Electric Code
Understanding of electrical circuits, knowledge of motors, and ability to understand controls and how to repair them
Ability to use common hand tools, meters, gauges and other associated test and measurement equipment
Experience using basic math
Ability to differentiate colors
Ability to understand and follow instructions
Strong attention to detail
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to work as a team member
Advance understanding of electrical operations
Basic to advanced understanding of HVAC, plumbing and carpentry
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to meet or exceed the company’s attendance and punctuality standards
Ability to work in fast-paced, ever changing environment
Preferred Education And Experience
An AA degree or certification in electrical or industrial maintenance
Welding experience a big plus
Bilingual Spanish/English desirable
