We are searching for an experienced Machine Repair/Maintenance Technician (1st Shift: 6:00am-2:30pm), responsible for performing duties to repair and maintain machinery, equipment, building and facilities requiring a broad knowledge of maintenance skills including mechanical repair, plumbing, welding, carpentry, fabrication and a basic knowledge of electrical repair.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Install/relocate, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery/mechanical equipment used in production and related services, including fabrication of replacement components
Diagnose machine malfunctions and make repairs/adjustments
Rebuild machines and overhaul troublesome components and attachments (includes dismantling, inspection, machining or replacement of purchased parts)
Perform skilled operations such as filing and aligning bearings, spindles, and shafts; adjusting feed and limit mechanisms, gibs, and ways
Perform preventive maintenance on all machines, as well as building heating, ventilating, and air conditioning units
Perform building/grounds maintenance and routine housekeeping activities
NOTE: Requires personal maintenance equipment and tools to perform duties

Requirements
3-5 years' experience in the maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery
2-3 years install/alignment experience
1-2 years' experience interpreting blueprints, mechanical drawings, diagrams and engineering specifications, and use of quality gauges and applications
Working knowledge of electronic circuitry, electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic concepts, and operating safety
Knowledge of CNC machines: Mazak Mills/Turning Centers, Haas, Tsugami and/or STARs CNC machines (including all hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical knowledge) preferred
Ability to operate various hand and power tools commonly used in the electrical, electronic, metal working and mechanical trades, as well as metal fabrication, welding, plumbing, and measuring equipment
Prior certification and experience operating forklifts and overhead hoists preferred
Understanding of OSHA rules and regulations (i.e. lockout/tagout, machine guarding)
Effective communication skills: must be able read and write clearly and concisely in English and understand/follow written work instructions and company procedures
Ability to use company communication tools, including email and Microsoft Word/Excel
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be capable of lifting/moving up to 50 pounds periodically throughout the shift and standing/walking/bending/squatting regularly throughout the workday
High school diploma or GED required
Additional maintenance and CNC training and/or certification preferred
