Lead Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description: Insight Global is seeking a Lead QA Engineer for one of our largest clients in Downtown Cleveland. This individual will be a part of a new work stream focused on customer identity management and being involved in the front end user experience realm. Cypress and Selenium are the two main testing platforms that this lead will be involved with heavily on a day to day basis. Java is the primary platform including java script frameworks such as react and angular. The day to day responsibilities include - driving the software quality assurance Lifecycle, test planning and execution, and guiding other QA resources. This resource is going to be the primary person on-site and will be communicating with the offshore team for hand offs and getting test strategies aligned. The team size is roughly 10-12 people and made up of architects, engineer, product managers etc.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 8+ years of lead level quality engineering experience creating test cases and test strategies
• Technical experience and expertise in one of the frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Ruby, or Cucumber) Cypress would be the best one to have then Selenium and the others would follow – they need expertise using these frameworks in an agile environment
• Exposure to acceptance test-driven development (ATDD) and/or test-driven development (TDD)
• Experience with Agile development and release practices

Compensation:

$70/hr to $80/hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
