About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic Junior Full Stack Developer with a strong foundation in C, C#, Java, Next.js, React, and TypeScript. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and demonstrate a solid understanding of web development and object-oriented programming. Proficiency in working on both frontend and backend tech stacks is essential for this role. Knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or comparable cloud environments (AWS, Azure) is a plus. Responsibilities:

1. Full Stack Development:

  • Contribute features and enhancements to backend applications using Java, C, and C#.
  • Develop responsive frontend web applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
  • Collaborate as a member of an Agile Scrum team to design, develop, test, and deploy software – be ready to adapt to new technologies as required by project demands.
  • Use CI/CD pipelines for automated code releases.
  • Deliver modular code from wireframes and mockups, ensuring a seamless cross-platform UX and a visually appealing experience for customers.
  • Follow a security-first approach and adhere to TDD best practices with high test coverage.
  • Identify and fix software bugs and issues.
  • Perform QA on both frontend and backend software.
  • Contribute to technical designs, documentation, and code analysis.
  • Participate in frequent high-quality code reviews.
  • Design and maintain efficient SQL/NoSQL schemas and queries for data management in cloud and local development environments.

2. Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with team members to understand project requirements and contribute to technical discussions.
  • Participate in Agile processes, including sprint planning, refinement sessions, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
  • Communicate effectively to share progress, challenges, and solutions with the development team.
  • Adapt and work incrementally in a fast-paced environment, understanding the need to pivot as necessary.
  • Proactively seek to resolve blockers and collaborate with teammates, maintaining clear communication.
  • Demonstrate ownership and a bias for action on assigned tasks and the team's backlog.
  • Exhibit active listening skills and model desired behaviors.


Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in C, C#, Java, HTML, CSS, Next.js, React, and TypeScript.
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with web development frameworks and libraries (e.g., ASP.NET, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, OAuth 2.0, Auth0, JWT).
  • Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git, Bitbucket).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and a willingness to learn.
  • Experience working in a remote-first, distributed Agile environment (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform technologies (e.g., Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Spanner, Cloud Run, Cloud Build, AlloyDB, Apigee) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cryptographic technologies and algorithms is a plus.
