The Position

The Instructional Designer and Learning Facilitator will develop, coordinate, and facilitate engaging training content via the Goodwill®U LMS platform. The successful candidate will establish curricula and employ a blended, experiential approach to meet the needs of all learners. This role aims to improve knowledge, skills, and competencies while positively impacting retention and supporting our mission. As the Instructional Design and Learning Facilitator you will:

Curriculum Design And Development

• Utilize Articulate Storyline 360 to create interactive eLearning content adhering to brand guidelines.
• Develop and update engaging learning activities and course content for core learning, leadership, functional training, and employability skills.
  
  

Leadership Development Program

• Manage content and facilitate LDP courses related to Personal Development.
• Review and analyze participant feedback for process improvement.
• Provide leadership development counseling and ongoing advice, training, and support for classroom and e-learning curricula.
• Evaluate training effectiveness by assessing learning application to job performance and consulting with team members about knowledge gaps.
  
  

LMS Support And Integrity Of Learning Programs

• Drive operational performance improvement through the utilization of Goodwill®U.
• Partner with L&D leaders and MDS Team to enhance Goodwill®U as a learning center.
• Collect and analyze data relating to training programs and their link to job performance for ROI.
• Perform system maintenance, including curriculum building, scheduling sessions, uploading courses, and extracting report data.
  
  

Project Management

• Manage projects with tight deadlines and maintain a content/project creation calendar.
• Support New Hire Orientation (NHO) with Learning Culture presentations.
• Create, edit, and revise key internal and external documents and training materials.
• Stay current with trends in instructional design and eLearning.

The Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field (Instructional Design, Creative Writing, Education, etc.) preferred.
• 2-5 years of related experience preferred.
• Proficient with Articulate Storyline 360, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and other media design software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Effective at writing instructional text, audio/video scripts, stories, microcopy, and assessment questions.

• Must be able to work occasional after-hours and weekends
• Incumbent must possess a valid driver's license, appropriate insurance coverage and a privately-owned reliable means of transportation to travel throughout GIM territory.
