Job Summary:


People Ops Coordinator to play a pivotal role in HR operations, focusing on seamless communication, meticulous documentation, and efficient management of the employee lifecycle. This position requires previous experience in immigration processes, a solid understanding of startup dynamics within the tech industry, and expertise in handling both on-boarding and off-boarding procedures.


Communication:

You will be responsible for managing email and scheduling communications with employees and external contacts. Overseeing document management (ex: preparing employment verification letters and update legal documentation with equity grants information). You will ensure team members stay informed about company policies and updates. Ensure accurate record keeping for HR metrics.


Record Keeping:

Your role will also involve maintaining accurate HR records, updating legal documents with equity grants information, and managing employee data related to salaries, reimbursements, and benefits.


Employee Engagement:

You will support the organization’s training initiatives by coordinating required programs such as Drata and anti-harassment training sessions. You’ll be pivotal in the employee review process and holding managers and employees accountable for 30,60,90 day reviews and OKR’s. You will oversee the entire on-boarding and off-boarding process for employees, ensuring a seamless experience and that all necessary steps are completed.


Policy Development:

You will contribute to policy development and enforcement, ensuring alignment with current regulations and company standards.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 4+ years experience in HR administration
  • Proven experience with the immigration processes with multiple visa types, and equity grants information.
  • 2+ years experience in startup environments within the tech industry.
  • Experience with benefit administration.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, MS Office Suite, Linear, Notion, Google, 1Password, Slack.
  • Experience with performance management.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
