Head of Venture Capital

Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Venture Capital to lead our venture capital (VC) investment activities and drive our investment strategy in early-stage and growth companies. Roles And Responsibilities

• Portfolio Management:
• Oversee the management of the venture capital portfolio, including monitoring performance, conducting valuation analysis, and optimizing portfolio allocation.
• Provide strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies, leveraging industry expertise and network to drive growth and operational excellence.
• Deal Structuring and Negotiation:
• Lead negotiations and structuring of investment terms, ensuring alignment with investment objectives, risk tolerance, and return expectations.
• Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to finalize investment agreements and execute transactions efficiently.
• Investor Relations and Fundraising:
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, communicating investment strategies, performance updates, and portfolio insights.
• Support fundraising efforts, preparing investment memoranda, presentations, and due diligence materials for potential investors.
• Market Research and Industry Analysis:
• Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry trends to identify emerging opportunities and investment themes.

Skills And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field. MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
• Proven experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or related fields, with a successful track record of sourcing and executing investments.
• Deep understanding of venture capital investment processes, deal structuring, due diligence, and portfolio management.
• Strong network within the venture capital ecosystem, including relationships with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry experts.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to evaluate investment opportunities, perform financial modeling, and assess market risks.
