Graphic & Website Designer

Spectacle Live is looking for a Graphic and Web Designer to join our Marketing Team. The Graphic and Web Designer will balance both graphic design and website management/design responsibilities. They will be responsible for supporting the Creative Team through creation of a wide variety of graphic design needs, such as: posters, ads, social media graphics, rack cards, banners, and more. Additionally, they will have sole management of Spectacle Live’s website, as well as the sites of our venues. The designer will be responsible for website updates, graphics, re-designs, and improvements.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute long-term and short-term graphic design assignments, including (but not limited to): show announcement graphics, digital and print advertisements, social media graphics, posters, email marketing graphics, signage, rack cards, banners, etc.
• Work with Brand and Creatives Manager to ensure brand consistency and design standards across all designs and websites
• Manage long-term projects, including: website redesign projects, working with developers in transferring websites to new content management systems (Squarespace to Wordpress), long-form PDFs, Powerpoint designs, template creation, and more
• Collaborate with other departments to deliver graphic design collateral as needed for: Production, Rentals, Booking, Sponsorships, and more
• Work with developers to implement new functional elements of websites and improve user and interactive experience
• Assist in street team responsibilities, including handing out rack cards, updating signage, distributing posters throughout venues and local communities, and more
• Assist Digital Marketing Team in updating and creating social media content

Job Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years of Graphic Design experience
• 2+ years of Web Design experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field
• Expert in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Proficient in Content Management Systems, preferably Wordpress and Squarespace
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint/Word
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
• Able to work on Mac
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Able to prioritize deliverables and projects based on deadlines and importance
• Excellent follow-through, organizational and time management skills
• Able to take projects from start to finish with minimal supervision
