Grants Compliance Specialist I - Remote | WFH

Position Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grants Compliance Specialist I (GCS I) to manage grants effectively and ensure compliance with federal regulations. This role supports broadband expansion projects funded by various federal programs across multiple states.

Location:

This is a hybrid role with both remote and in-office components. In-office requirements will vary based on business needs, typically ranging from 1 to 5 days per week. Remote work necessitates a stable internet connection meeting specified requirements.

Travel Requirements

Travel may be required for work assignments or meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement compliance processes aligned with federal guidelines.

Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to funding regulations.

Provide guidance and training on compliance requirements to grant recipients.

Monitor expenditures to ensure budget alignment and project compliance.

Collaborate with stakeholders to address compliance issues and manage risks.

Prepare and submit accurate reports to federal agencies on grant compliance and performance.

Stay updated on federal regulations impacting broadband grant programs.

Assist in policy development to enhance compliance and accountability.

Support program evaluations to assess project impact on broadband accessibility.

Minimum Qualifications

At least one year of experience in grants management, preferably related to broadband consulting or federal/state grant programs.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field.

Strong understanding of federal grant regulations, especially in broadband programs.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.

Familiarity with grant management tools is beneficial.

Commitment to ethical standards and transparency in grant administration.
