We are looking for a candidate with proven experience to direct and control resources, manage large capital equipment projects and solve complex problems in an entrepreneurial manufacturing environment. Set direction and introduce new technology for capital process equipment manufacturer growing because of demand by biologic pharmaceutical plants developing new vaccine and cancer fighting therapies. We are the leaders in our industry and have customers in all 50 states plus additional countries worldwide.

Pioneer the incorporation of cutting-edge technologies along with the launch of innovative platforms for hardware and software. Lead a team of 20 Engineers and Technicians in developing customized machine control hardware/software integration including PLC, HMI and DCS.

  • Rockwell/DeltaV Automation Platform
  • Understanding of where Automation industry is headed and how to get there
  • Know S88 based Batch Automation design in Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Budget and Progress tracking experience
  • Programming of PLC, HMI and DCS components, Testing, Verification and Validation of systems
  • Integration of a smaller system into large scale plant (i.e. communication between skids/handshaking)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, with a preference for Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, or Manufacturing Engineering, complemented by Business Management studies.
  • Requires practical operational experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years in roles related to automation engineering
  • 5 years in a managerial position involving technical products and the integration of custom machine control hardware/software.
  • Experience in the biotech or chemical industry, focusing on custom automation system design and implementation, is essential.
  • Certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma is required.
