They are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic individual to serve as General Counsel. Reporting directly to the CLO, this person will oversee all legal operations with a strategic and business approach. The ideal candidate will have extensive real estate transaction experience and a proven background in defining and implementing a legal framework.

Responsibilities:

• The successful candidate will play a key role in providing legal support to all aspects of real estate investment and operations activities
• Managing and overseeing real estate transactions, such as acquisitions, dispositions, and development projects.
• Conduct due diligence for real estate transactions, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide legal guidance on various projects.
• Stay updated on real estate laws and regulations to ensure the firm's practices remain compliant

Requirements:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active license in any state
• 10+ years of relevant experience in real estate law
• 5+ years of private practice experience
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
