Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Financial Consultant located in Bernalillo, NM. As a Financial Consultant, you will be responsible for assisting members with all area of banking. This includes but not limited to: opening new consumer, fidicuary and business accounts, submit consumer loans, enroll and assist with digital banking products, maintenance accounts, open IRA and share certificates, answer and resolve member inquiries and conduct research on member accounts as required or requested and serve as a back up to teller line when needed.

Maintain in-depth knowledge of and comply with all department and security policies, procedures and federal regulations, including BSA requirements.

Possess a high-level understanding of NADA reports, loan-to-value, GAP coverage, Mechanical Breakdown coverage, Credit Life and Disability coverage and simple interest calculations.

Understand and explain NCUA share insurance, basic regulatory rules and compliance issues to members.

Qualifications

• One to three years of similar financial institution experience

• Demonstrate a high-level of courtesy and efficiency while continuously exceeding service expectations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Possess working knowledge and understanding of cross-selling techniques.
