As the Finance and Operations Manager of Confluence Philanthropy, you will be a critical member of our team, helping us to execute the business aspects of our membership platform and convenings. Working alongside and reporting to the Chief Finance and Admin Officer (CFAO), you will be responsible for supporting operations and administrative functions, while also acting as an important thought partner to the Program Team. You will ensure we have the information, tools, and processes needed to deliver our mission effectively. You will need a keen eye for detail and will subscribe to the belief that no task is too big or too small. Helping others is your raison d’etre!
Location
Office is in Midtown ManhaWan. Must be available weekdays with office hours between 9.00 am ET to 6.00 pm ET. Note that there will be longer hours in the month preceding the annual conference and shorter summer hours. Must be able to commute to and work from the office a minimum of 4 days per week.
Responsibilitie
Finance Management: Managing finance administration; including coding accounts receivable and payable, maintaining contract compliances, managing accounts receivable and collections. Maintaining business files and databases.
Vendor Management: Manage vendor accounts, including monitoring contract compliance, billing, and expenditures.
Membership Intake: Create and maintain client database accounts, assist in revenue collection, respond to administrative questions.
Event Management: Process registration, including assisting with attendee registration related inquiries and assistance. Assist in monitoring event related expenditures in real time during planning and production.
Office Management: Open mail and packages, purchase office supplies, filing, answer reception. Support Management Team scheduling (including CEO calendar) as requested.
Required Background, Skills and Experience
Minimum of 7 years of work experience
Strong experience with Quickbooks for NonProfits (a skills test will be provided during the
interviewing process)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
Facility with Excel and Non Profit budgeting processes
Highly detail oriented
Previous nonprofit experience preferred
Salary and Benefits
The starting salary will range from $70K - $80K, with experience
