NewCo is pioneering the deployment, ownership, and operation of level two charging infrastructure nationwide, catering to multi-family, hotel, and other client properties. With an innovative model designed to address market needs while mitigating risks. They are committed to shaping the future of sustainable transportation.


Position Overview:

As NewCo's Director of Finance, you have the opportunity to shape the financial foundation of a pioneering company in the rapidly evolving electric vehicle infrastructure industry. This role entails not only establishing and overseeing financial operations but also playing a critical part in strategic decision-making that directly impacts the future of sustainable transportation.


Key Responsibilities:


Corporate Finance & Financial Analysis:

  • Design financial operations, including robust accounting processes and cash management.
  • Manage budgets, forecasts, financial reports, and tax planning to support decision-making and compliance.
  • Lead financial audits and implement controls to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to guide investment strategies and business operations.


Process Development:

  • Establish scalable financial systems and protocols for efficient management and data integrity.
  • Collaborate on designing scalable systems for effective revenue remittance and financial evaluation of new properties.


Stakeholder and Investor Engagement:

  • Develop reports and KPIs for financial reporting to investors, providing regular updates and insights.


Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Establish risk management policies and ensure compliance with financial and legal requirements.


Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 8+ years of corporate finance experience, including financial management, modeling, and public relations.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, fiscal analysis, and budget management.
  • Strong leadership skills with a foundation in compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex financial information clearly.
