We are looking for an eCommerce Website Manager to join our growing team!

Job Purpose

The eCommerce Website Manager will work in collaboration with the Director of eCommerce to develop, drive and grow revenue through OMI’s direct-to-consumer ecommerce website: www.FreshWaveWorks.com. This individual possesses an exceptional understanding of our customers, what motivates them to purchase and the products they purchase. The eCommerce Website Manager is skilled in ecommerce product selection, presentation, pricing, merchandising and promotions. This role will focus on improving conversion rate, AOV (average order value), order frequency and adoption, while maximizing overall eCommerce revenue and profitability. The eCommerce Website Manager will provide day-to-day site administration and support for the website. This role works closely with marketing, finance, operations, and customer service to ensure customers have a positive online ordering experience and drive sales growth and profitability.

Job Responsibilty Summary

  • Manage the day-to-day user experience of OMI’s eCommerce website including site navigation, on-site search, product content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns.
  • Improve the existing online shopping experience and deliver a best-in-class experience. This includes significantly improving visitor to customer conversions, revenue, customer engagement and retention.
  • Continually assess eCommerce storefront to identify opportunities to improve product assortment, placement, cross-sell/up-sell and discoverability.
  • Ensure product content on the website is accurate and up to date; manage product set up, navigation, on-site search, cross-sell, out-of-stock items, and product pricing adjustments through the eCommerce software.
  • Support ongoing A/B testing to continually improve upon customer experience and optimize conversions.
  • Monitor attribution and analytics, with a focus on CPA, AOV, ROAS, and LTV for website and all channels directing to the website.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager and external agencies on eCommerce shopping campaigns to deliver revenue goals.
  • Maintain Google, Social, and Bing shopper feed, adding and updating products as needed.
  • Coordinate product sampling programs to generate ratings & reviews.
  • Serve as admin for OMI’s eCommerce website. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and training materials for users.
  • Serve as main point of contact with customer service team, communicating sales, promotions, updates, troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Assist customer service with account issues and password resets; consolidate duplicate customer accounts when needed.
  • Work closely with Director of eCommerce to prioritize, manage, and communicate to our partner agencies website enhancement requests, bug fixes, and support roadmap for website and ecommerce evolution.
  • Maintain promotional calendar for OMI website, email campaigns, social channels, eMarketplaces and retail partners. Manage project briefs for campaigns. Ensure campaigns are on schedule, trackable and reported upon.
  • Perform analysis of campaigns and promotions; make recommendations for optimizations.
  • Create, test, and maintain promotional codes for on and offsite campaigns.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in eCommerce, Digital Marketing, Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years preferred in eCommerce/digital marketing experience.
  • High level of competence using eCommerce review, and personalization software to manage websites required. Shopify, Google Analytics and Klaviyo experience a big plus.
  • Experience managing CMS.
  • Strong product content, merchandising and promotion skills.
  • Understanding of keyword research, SEO and usability best practices preferred.
  • Passion for eCommerce and eCommerce technology
  • Comprehensive understanding of merchandising (upsell & cross sell strategies) and promotions.
  • Strong reporting and analysis capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of online advertising and email marketing best practices.
  • Strong organizational skills, good at prioritization and strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated communication skills (oral, written, listening).
  • Strong customer service acumen and ability to resolve issues diplomatically.

Travel/Attendance

This is a full-time position, where you'll have the flexibility of a hybrid work schedule, spending 3 days a week in our Corporate HQ in Palatine, IL and 2 days working remotely from home.
