Job Description
The eCommerce Compliance Analyst for CNBC Select is an exciting role working with key stakeholders in monitoring the regulatory and marketing guidelines imposed on publishers in the financial product (e.g. credit cards, loans, etc.) and personal finance review space. The ideal candidate has experience in financial commerce at an established financial product recommendation / review site, has worked with marketing compliance teams at banks or other financial institutions, or has experience in affiliate marketing business practices.

Job Description

The ideal candidate has experience in financial commerce at an established financial product recommendation / review site, has worked with marketing compliance teams at banks or other financial institutions, or has experience in affiliate marketing business practices.
What You’ll Do
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the regulatory and marketing requirements for all partnerships and become an expert on partner terms and conditions
- Perform audits of new content and conduct on-going reviews of existing content, as needed, for partner compliance purposes
- Work with the broader Compliance team on all affiliate marketing and compliance-related workstreams
- Work closely with the digital technology and product team, as well as with the content team, to ensure processes and workflows are monitored to stay compliant with partner marketing guidelines and terms
- Interface with external compliance and affiliate marketing teams at partnering organizations
- Provide support for tracking and monitoring product mentions and offerings
- Create appropriate controls to address and flag compliance risks to the commercial, product and content teams
Qualifications
- Minimum of three years’ experience in an affiliate marketing compliance or risk management role at a publisher, financial institution, or affiliate network
- Strong familiarity with guidelines for financial product reviews and an ability to navigate terms and conditions for relevant products
- Ability to collaborate across a number of functions and departments
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills
- Attention to detail is a must
- Quick learner and problem solver who thinks outside the box to find solutions with a track record of successful results delivery
- Strong prioritization skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Possesses a high degree of emotional intelligence and can adapt easily
