The Distribution President (Director, Distribution) oversees all aspects of their division’s sales and operations. This individual is expected to achieve revenue and operating profit growth targets through effective leadership while representing Rheem South Distribution (currently includes Century A/C Supply) as a leader in the industry. This entity represents an established wholesale HVAC distributorship carrying the Rheem family of products along with other parts and supplies. Century A/C Supply operates with multiple locations in the Houston, TX metro area.
This position is located in Houston, TX metro area.
Responsibilities:
Represent the Rheem Southeast Distribution (RSD) as a leader in the industry ensuring maximum sales, profitability, and operational function.
Develop, implement, and execute a strategic business plan for the division including achievement of assigned metrics such as those related to financial forecasts and customer satisfaction.
Develop market strategies and solicit new accounts and dealers. Secure maximum market share and sales dollars consistent with established sales policies and programs that maximize the sale of product manufactured by Rheem.
Establish targets and articulate a clear vision on the challenges and opportunities facing the company.
Ensure team members execute the Company’s short- and long-term sales and operations goals and objectives.
Manage, motivate, measure, and increase production of Regional Managers, Territory Managers and Branch Managers.
Resolve customer relations issues with both dealers and end users when necessary.
Manage division’s P&L while implementing process improvement and technology to maximize EBITA.
Travel as needed within the geography and to industry and Rheem events.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business supply chain or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
10+ years of hands-on senior sales and operations leadership experience; two-step distribution and/or B2B environment required.
Solid finance and business acumen with demonstrated experience managing P&L and analyzing sales and market data.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and discretion.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Technology oriented. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite as well as sales management and Business Intelligence software.
Strong organizational, problem solving, resources management and time management skills.
Strong team building skills and succession planning skills with a demonstrated ability to work well with others in a highly collaborative environment.
Exhibit people skills that inspire trust and confidence in others who will then readily follow in their insights and directives.
Demonstrated experience in cultivating a positive and energetic work environment that aligns with the principles of the Gung Ho culture.
Experience with the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) and a strong understanding of its tools and methodologies.
