Under administrative direction of the Critical Infrastructure & Cyber Protection Administrator for the Critical Infrastructure program in Ohio Homeland Security (OHS), act as southwest regional project leader & subject matter expert (SME) to assist in the planning, coordinating, monitoring & assessment of critical infrastructure (e. g., act as principal liaison for the Ohio Department of Public Safety (ODPS), Homeland Security & various federal, county, city & municipal infrastructure protection agencies or personnel performing critical infrastructure duties; maintain critical infrastructure databases & systems; etc.); Serve as a resource person over the Homeland Information Sharing Program for state & federal systems & databases, such as Communication & Information Management System (CIMS), Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN), & Protected Critical Infrastructure Information Management System (PCII) (e.g., assist with the protection of both classified & unclassified information access, storage, dissemination & destruction); Support information validity & security for CIMS to include processing new account applications, conducting annual member audits to ensure compliance of federal rules & regulations & the Ohio Revised Code regarding routing & proper protection for information at all levels exchanged through CIMS; Review & post OHS products on CIMS; Coordinate with the Ohio Department of Public Safety Office of Information Technology in the design & implementation of updates to CIMS; Coordinate with the Department of Homeland Security & administer OHS communities of interest on HSIN; Conduct outreach and facilitate networking and training activities with critical infrastructure owners and operators.
Aid in &/or conduct building security & vulnerability assessments in assigned region to include State/Public/Private buildings &/or properties; Conduct outreach & assessments; Review security plans & prepared documents for assigned State/Public/Private facilities &/or properties to include emergency operation plans; Conduct & aid in construction assessments for cabinet agency projects (i.e., new constructions, additions, major renovations, etc.); Inform supervisor of real &/or potential infrastructure security issues that could adversely affect State assets (Public & Private), properties & citizens; Administer & implement security plans & programs related to the National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) (e.g., Asset Data Call & Special Events Data Call, etc.); Attend meetings, conferences, &/or trainings at the central office location.
Participate in deployments to the field for events & critical incidents in order to support security operations; Conduct SkyWatch Tower deployments as needed; Assist with grant solicitations & programs; Operate unmanned aircraft systems to support OHS missions; Assist with end of day check security responsibilities; Perform other related duties as assigned.
