Community and Content Manager


Location: Amesbury, MA (frequent off-site production and community engagement required)

Reports to: VP of Marketing


Summary:

We are seeking a master storyteller with a knack for creating captivating content and engaging narratives that drive buyer and customer journeys. The Community Manager & Videographer/Producer will execute our content strategy with the goal of maximizing reach and growing our audience and customer base. This role involves creating cross-platform content, identifying partnerships, collaborations, and opportunities, and working closely with creators, influencers, and artists to produce trending content. They will manage organic social media channels and support other storytelling forms, including video blogs and interviews.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy Execution: Develop and execute content strategies to maximize audience reach and engagement.
  • Content Creation: Produce and edit engaging video content, photos, and written content for various platforms, including YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.
  • Community Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our user base, understand their needs, and engage with them across multiple platforms.
  • Project Management: Oversee creative projects from concept to completion, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
  • Social Media Management: Plan and implement social media campaigns, track engagement, and analyze performance metrics.
  • Influencer Outreach: Develop and manage relationships with influencers and industry professionals.
  • Event Coverage: Photograph, video, and attend events throughout the region, creating PR-worthy moments and content.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure a consistent voice across all platforms and maintain a cohesive brand presence.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in videography, video editing, and content management.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expertise in social media software and tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Sprout, Brandwatch, Google Analytics, Canva), advanced computer skills (MS Office, Adobe Suite, Google Suite).
  • Creative Concepting: Strong background in creative concepting for various video content styles, including organic social media, paid social media ads, streaming/TV ads, long-form segments, promotional teasers, and video podcasts.
  • Video Production: Exceptional skills in filming techniques, post-production video editing, and familiarity with the latest camera trends.
  • Storytelling: Ability to craft engaging narratives that resonate with audiences and drive engagement.
  • Organization & Time Management: Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Communication: Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Social Media Savvy: In-depth knowledge of social media trends and best practices, with a passion for platforms like YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, and podcasts.
  • Team Player: Collaborative and creative team player with a positive attitude and a passion for our mission.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Portfolio: Must provide a reel and/or samples of work outlining their role within each project.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Experience in influencer outreach and relationship building.
  • A creative eye for identifying and partnering with freelance artists and creators.
  • Strong knowledge of best practices for social media marketing and community engagement.
