Vibes & Verbs, a dynamic copywriting company based in Columbus, OH, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communications Assistant to join our team. As a Communications Assistant, you will support our communications and marketing efforts, helping to craft compelling messages and maintain our brand's voice across various platforms.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of communication strategies and campaigns to promote Vibes & Verbs’ brand and services.
Write and edit content for various communication channels, including newsletters, press releases, blog posts, social media updates, and email campaigns.
Maintain and update the company’s website content, ensuring accuracy and consistency with our brand message.
Support the management of social media accounts by creating and scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, and presentations.
Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and media opportunities to inform communication strategies.
Help organize and coordinate company events, including workshops, seminars, and press conferences.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to generate innovative communication ideas and solutions.
