Position Overview
As the Vice President of Engineering, you will take on a crucial role in propelling significant progress in our product and engineering endeavors. Reporting directly to executive leadership, you will be responsible for shaping our technology roadmap, enhancing international engineering operations, and driving scalability, efficiency, and innovation throughout our organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Define and implement a product roadmap that aligns with business objectives, ensuring successful product launches and ongoing enhancements.
Team Development: Lead and mentor engineering teams across various locations, cultivating a collaborative and inclusive environment that supports high performance and professional development.
Execution Excellence: Oversee the software development lifecycle to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Technological Innovation: Foster innovation by adopting state-of-the-art technologies and best practices to maintain our competitive advantage in the market.
Cost Efficiency: Optimize operational expenses while upholding product quality, identifying and implementing cost-saving opportunities as part of financial management.
Technical Qualifications
Possess 10+ years of progressive engineering experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles, demonstrating a history of building and managing high-performing teams.
Expertise in software architecture, cloud-native designs, and modern data platforms, with hands-on experience in integrating diverse data sources and utilizing cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
Strong background in ETL/ELT processes, business intelligence tools, and familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing).
