Case Manager

CAPSA is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Trauma-Informed Case Manager to join our team. If you have a passion for making a difference in the lives of survivors, we want to hear from you.

This position will have the opportunity to facilitate educational support groups designed to help survivors thrive by developing and presenting impactful lessons tailored to members' needs. Lead engaging discussions and activities within group settings.

Position Purpose

As a Case Manager at CAPSA, you will play a vital role in supporting survivors on their journey to safety and healing. Your responsibilities will include providing crisis intervention, helping survivors create survivor-directed action plans, and offering advocacy and support throughout their recovery.

This position is part of an amazing team and will provide you with interesting and varied day to day work.

  • Provide in-person, virtual, and telephone crisis intervention for domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking survivors.
  • Assist clients in creating survivor-directed action plans, including filing protective orders, police reports, attending court, and obtaining housing, employment, or financial assistance.
  • Advocate on behalf of clients with the court system, law enforcement, employers, and other relevant entities.
  • Foster connections and collaborations with community resources and professionals.
  • Educate survivors about the dynamics of domestic and sexual violence and human trafficking.
  • Assist clients in developing survivor-directed safety plans and completing danger assessments.
  • Maintain a client caseload, regularly following up to assess progress and additional needs.
  • Assisting Case Management team members with their cases, listening and providing collaborative feedback to best support survivors
  • Case Work Documentation, including maintaining accurate and timely case notes.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the mission of CAPSA.
