The ideal candidate will have high level relationships with family offices & Ultra High Net Worth Investors who are active in alternative investments, private equity, etc. Specifically those that are entrepreneurs who sold their companies and pursuing new investment opportunities


Responsibilities

  • Present to investors a Reg. D, 506 PPM, pitchdeck, and data room for a $5 million Eastern European immigrant crime film based in Chicago, and, follow on offerings for anew disruptive media company (AVOD & U.S. theatrical distribution).
  • Make introductions to high net worth investors who are open to alternative investments. Especially investors who are founders that sold their own companies with a large exit and are open to new alternative investment opportunities
  • Quickly educate prospective investors on IRS Section 168 which allows for a 100% deduction of an investment in media production
  • Explain to investors how U.S., Canadian, and foreign tax credits and rebates offset equity risk.
  • Close investors with a min. buy in of $100,000 - $250,000+. Preference is to have 1 family office back entire deal


Qualifications

  • Lead or Co Investor as a Limited Partner or Seed Stage Angel Investor or VC
  • Previous capital raising experience as a founder, cofounder, CFO, hedge fund manager, private equity managing partner, 3rd party marketer, private placement broker dealer, or wealth advisor with a significant AUM
  • Love of Great Films including "The Departed", "Once Upon A Time In America", "Goodfellas", "Godfather"
  • Understanding of $2 trillion Global Media & Entertainment Industry
  • Passion to eventually be in film/tv production full time and be involved in other film/tv productuons that would shoot all over the world.
  • High level access and warm lead relationships with HNW investors and family offices
  • A level sales and closing skills of investment subscriptions
  • Open to a success fee, back end equity, and producer credits. Eventual transition to full time key executive role based on success of initial capital raises
