Job Description

This newly created position provides pre-award administrative research support to researchers in the College of Health Sciences.

Job Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret guidelines for sponsored activities to ensure grant applications are eligible for funding consideration and align with University policy.
  • Provide fiscal support in tandem with technical support provided by CHS Senior Grant Writer to create competitive grant applications.
  • Construct budgets and supporting documentation that comply with sponsor guidelines while supporting institutional initiatives.
  • Work with CHS Director of Research to provide recommendations to CHS faculty in response to questions related to research activity.

Shift

Monday – Friday

8:00am – 5:00pm

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in research administration
  • Prior experience in higher education
  • Proficiency in MS Office products
  • Excellent time management skills with an ability to communicate effectively
  • Close attention to detail

Anticipated Hiring Range

Anticipated Hiring Range: $60,000 - $70,000
