This newly created position provides pre-award administrative research support to researchers in the College of Health Sciences.
Job Responsibilities
Review and interpret guidelines for sponsored activities to ensure grant applications are eligible for funding consideration and align with University policy.
Provide fiscal support in tandem with technical support provided by CHS Senior Grant Writer to create competitive grant applications.
Construct budgets and supporting documentation that comply with sponsor guidelines while supporting institutional initiatives.
Work with CHS Director of Research to provide recommendations to CHS faculty in response to questions related to research activity.

8:00am – 5:00pm
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in research administration
Prior experience in higher education
Proficiency in MS Office products
Excellent time management skills with an ability to communicate effectively
Close attention to detail

Anticipated Hiring Range: $60,000 - $70,000
