Who We’re Looking For - Reporting to the VP, Analytics, we are seeking a Business Intelligence Manager, Retail to collect, organize, and analyze data for use by our Retail team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a retail brand and be highly proficient in Excel, SQL and data visualization tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Own (identify, maintain, report on) the suite of KPIs for the Retail team that helps assess the cost trends of key activities as well as tracks the end customer service level of the Direct-to-Consumer business
  • Use point-of-sale data combined with syndicated market research data to assess the effectiveness of existing programs
  • Utilize data mining techniques to analyze complex store, product and customer information, develop key takeaways and provide recommendations
  • Build Microsoft Excel based tools to provide decision support for Retail team
  • Partner cross-functionally to identify opportunities and then translate into an internal brief and then into an analytical project
  • Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting, dashboards and analysis on key business metrics and challenges
  • Contribute to development of models around predictive recommendations, planning forecasts, etc., to support the best decision making within the organization
  • Translate complex analytics tasks into easily consumable outputs to guide data-driven decisions with various stakeholders
  • Develop consistent approaches and methodologies for data analysis, automate repeatable tasks and drive process efficiencies
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports as needs arise
  • Other duties as required


Qualifications:

  • 4+ years experience in a data-driven business, prior experience in a Retail setting highly preferred
  • Bachelor or Masters's Degree in Business preferred
  • Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Good knowledge of SQL
  • Strong experience drawing insights from data and providing recommendations to the business
  • Experienced with Looker, and SAS data visualization software a plus
  • Able to perform complex tasks involving datasets and statistics & ability to communicate them clearly
