About The Position
The Branch Mortgage Consultant is responsible for originating mortgage loans for eligible borrowers in the State of Nevada and develop business through effective support of designated GNCU branch as well as outside sales.
What You'll Be Doing
Obtain and maintain a mortgage agent license through the State of Nevada Mortgage Lending Division and Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System within 90 days of hiring date.
Work independently to organize and prioritize tasks, manage time to meet deadlines, analyze requests, understand issues and develop appropriate solutions.
Maintain daily oversight of the Mortgage Consultants pipeline to ensure appropriate deadlines and expectations are being met.
Demonstrate ability to effectively notify clients and business partners of key milestones in the loan process.
Work effectively in a team oriented, customer focused culture.
The position promotes the mission, products, services and image of Greater Nevada on a continuing basis to all personnel, members, volunteers, vendors and the community at-large by demonstrating the employee's elements for Greater Nevada's C.A.R.E. culture that are Competence, Attitude, Relationship Building, and Effectiveness through appropriate words and actions
Qualifications
3+ years experience as a licensed Mortgage Loan Officer
Experience in Mortgage Origination
Strong Communication Skills
Exceptional Customer Service Skills
Ability to be flexible and work with membership as well as drive outside loan origination
Driven to be accountable for mortgage loan origination
Skills & Competencies
Knowledge of mortgage products and programs in order to effectively guide and educate clients on the home buying process
Produce an appropriate amount of quality work as defined by the Production Schedule

While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
You may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
