Position: AWS Integration Engineer

Location: Remote (once a month travel required)

Duration: Contract

Job Description

As an AWS Integration Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust integration solutions within the AWS environment. Leveraging your expertise in AWS services, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, optimize workflows, and ensure seamless data flow between applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable and secure AWS integration solutions with Lambdas to meet business requirements.
  • Develop automation scripts and tools to streamline deployment and configuration processes.
  • Collaborate with software developers and architects to design and implement efficient data transfer mechanisms.
  • Configure and manage AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, and SNS.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and availability.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to integration, performance, and security.
  • Stay updated on the latest AWS technologies and best practices, and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.
  • Experience with Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, and API Gateway.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns and best practices (Microservices).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer) are preferred but not required.
