Our client is looking to ramp up its Commercial team with a new Associate Director of Business Development to drive its API CDMO business growth on the West Coast of the United States.

Associate Director of Business Development - Responsibilities:

• Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets, to expand the company's reach and impact
• Be accountable for Sales/BD goals and the continued growth of the organisation's sales region aligned with the overall company strategy
• Actively drive engagement with clients and foster long-term relationships
• Provide forecasting and detailed reports to senior management to track commercial progress
• Work collaboratively with the Marketing team to develop strategies for attracting and retaining clients and raising awareness of the company's services to increase revenue
• Involved in project acquisition - negotiate contracts, generate client proposals and bids, and close deals to meet business objectives

Associate Director of Business Development - Requirements:

• Holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or a related field
• Masters or PhD preferred
• 4+ years of proven experience as a high-performing Sales / Business Development expert within the Small Molecule API Contract Manufacturing Field
