CentraCare is looking for a hardworking individual to join our Epic Clinical Information Services department as an Application System Analyst Associate or Application System Analyst with the Epic Inpatient Clinical Documentation team at CentraCare!
What You’ll Do
Complete basic Epic functions to include working with work queues, reports, troubleshooting issues, new department build and support.
Knowledge in Inpatient Orders workflow for Providers and other allied professionals.
Understanding and able to complete Epic build order sets, order transmittal.
Make recommendations for application workflow improvements.
Install new features and complete upgrade notes.
Conducts regular day-to-day communication, reviews software, demonstrates a deeper understanding of business operations.
Works with subject matter experts and end users to tailor the system to fit the organization's needs.
Routinely performs analysis of workflows, data collection, and other technical issues associated with the use of the application software.
Is responsible for design, build, testing and maintaining those solutions.
Ensures standards of practice for existing and planned systems remain compatible within IT Infrastructure and other software applications.
Implements and abides by Customer Service Standards. Supports and implements patient safety practices as appropriate.
Schedule
Full-time | 80 hours per two weeks | Monday – Friday | Primarily between 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. | Occasional weekends, evenings as assigned covering go-lives, on-call, etc. | Primarily Remote, does require on-site work.

Qualifications
Analyst Associate Requirements:
Associate degree in a related field or 2+ years of equivalent work experience.
2 years of clinical, operational, or related application experience, or current related application certification.
Previous experience in information technology and/or software (preferred).
Epic Certification Core Software application certification or proficiency required within 6 months of hire and within 3 attempts of testing, if applicable.
Demonstrates analytical, critical thinking, problem solving skills.
Analyst Requirements
Associate degree in a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of related application build experience within responsible software applications.
Software Application/module certification or proficiency in a minimum of 1 software application or system and/or in good standing with the software vendor upon hire.
Technical expert in Information systems, business applications and/or EHR applications.
Demonstrates analytical, critical thinking, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
