Build systems/processes/strategies to support our Derivatives business.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs/issues and provide appropriate solutions for them.
- Assist in creating material to help clients better understand investment methodologies.
- Conduct analysis on derivatives-based solutions in a cost-effective manner.
- Gain knowledge in Conning’s investment, risk, and capital management capabilities.
- Maintain and further develop our Derivatives/Options Platform.
- Address additional/new client needs and requirements.
- Develop new investment strategies.
- Maintain and improve option valuation processes.
- Improve current and develop new models for vanilla and exotic options.
Years of experience: 1+
Requirements
- Understanding of Numerical Analysis, Monte Carlo, Optimization Techniques
- Good Communication skills and ability to work with clients
- Required: Python, SQL
- Preferred: C/C++ (desirable), VB
- Undergraduate degree in STEM and postgraduate degree in quantitative finance/financial engineering required.
- Master’s degree / PhD preferred.
