ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialists for a manufacturing company focused on oceanographic measuring devices. This would be a great opportunity for someone with experience in accounting looking to further their career!
Contact customers to resolve past due accounts, negotiate payment plans, and determine how to prevent future payment delays
Responsible for accurate coding and processing of invoices for on-time payment
Monitors accounts daily and investigates discrepancies and problems with invoices and payments
Respond to customer inquiries and requests, serving as a liaison between the customer and the sales team to reconcile accounts and resolve disputes
Delivers various reporting to leadership and stakeholders, including aging reports, collections reports, cash forecasting, etc.
Reconcile RMA invoices and credits for returned and/or failed products from customers and maintain detailed documentation of customer interactions.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFCATIONS
Associates degree in Accounting or related field, Bachelor’s degree preferred
3+ years in Accounts Receivable collections experience
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel; Familiarity with accounting and ERP software, experience with Oracle EBS desired
Experience working within production or manufacturing industries
Effective interpersonal communication and team skills
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
